Ingredients
  • 2 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 piece Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
Instructions
  1. Soak chickpeas overnight in water.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Saute until golden brown.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add soaked chickpeas and water. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  7. Mash some chickpeas to thicken the curry.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala powder and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
  10. Serve hot with rice or bread.
