Ingredients
  • 2 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight and cook until tender.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  4. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add cooked chickpeas and water. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon juice.
  7. Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
