Ingredients
  • 2 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 large Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 piece Green Chili
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Coriander Leaves
Instructions
  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight and cook them until tender.
  2. Cook the basmati rice separately.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Saute until golden brown.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add cooked chickpeas and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the chickpea curry over basmati rice.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
