Ingredients
  • 200 gram Paneer
  • 300 gram Sugar
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon Rose water
  • 50 gram Pistachios
  • 1 sheet Silver leaf (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a large pan, combine water and sugar. Bring it to a boil.
  2. Add paneer and cardamom powder to the pan. Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  4. Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into cylindrical or oval-shaped pieces.
  5. In a separate pan, bring water to a boil. Add the shaped cham cham pieces and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let the cham cham pieces cool in the syrup for 1 hour.
  7. Garnish with pistachios and silver leaf (optional).
  8. Serve chilled.
