  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
Instructions
  1. Slice the onions into thin strips.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the onions to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking the onions for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become golden brown and caramelized.
  5. Sprinkle salt and sugar over the onions and mix well.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
