Ingredients
  • 4 piece Apples
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry the apples.
  2. Insert a popsicle stick into the stem end of each apple.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the caramel cool for a few minutes.
  5. Dip each apple into the caramel, turning to coat evenly.
  6. Place the caramel-coated apples on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and harden.
  7. Allow the caramel apples to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
