Ingredients
  • 2 ripe Avocado
  • 1 can Black beans
  • 1/4 small Red onion
  • 1 juiced Lime
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 diced Tomato
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the avocado until smooth.
  2. Rinse and drain the black beans, then add them to the bowl.
  3. Finely chop the red onion and add it to the bowl.
  4. Squeeze the lime juice into the bowl.
  5. Add the chopped cilantro, salt, garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder to the bowl.
  6. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  7. Gently fold in the diced tomato.
  8. Cover the bowl and let the dip rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  9. Serve the Captain's Avocado Bean Dip with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks.
