Ingredients
  • 4 slice Baguette
  • 4 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 8 leaves Fresh Basil
  • 2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill or toaster.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  3. Toast the baguette slices until golden brown.
  4. Rub the garlic cloves on one side of each toasted baguette slice.
  5. Dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
  6. Tear the basil leaves into small pieces and add them to the tomatoes.
  7. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the tomato mixture.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the garlic-rubbed side of each toasted baguette slice.
  11. Serve immediately.
