Ingredients
  • 1 loaf Baguette
  • 4 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves
  • 12 leaves Basil Leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the bread is toasted.
  5. Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and finely chop the garlic and basil.
  6. In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Once the bread is toasted, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  8. Spoon the tomato mixture onto each slice of bread.
  9. Serve immediately.
