Ingredients
  • 2 cup Brown beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 4 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Soak the brown beans in water overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the beans.
  3. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add soaked beans, vegetable broth, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until beans are tender.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with rice or tortillas.
