Ingredients
  • 4 slice Bread slices
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 chopped Green chili
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
  1. Cut the bread slices into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they crackle, add curry leaves, chopped green chili, and sliced onion. Saute until the onion turns translucent.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  5. Add the bread pieces and mix gently until they are well coated with the masala.
  6. Cover the pan and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
  7. Remove the lid, add lemon juice, and mix well.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot as a breakfast or snack.
