  • 1/2 cup Popcorn kernels
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the popcorn kernels and cover the pot with a lid.
  3. Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
  4. When the popping slows down, remove the pot from heat and let it rest for 1 minute.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, black pepper, and salt.
  6. Drizzle the sugar mixture over the popcorn while tossing it to coat evenly.
  7. Let the kettle corn cool for 5 minutes before serving.
