Black Bean Soup

Rinse and drain the black beans.

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, red bell pepper, carrot, and celery. Sauté until vegetables are tender.

Add cumin powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Add black beans and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Use an immersion blender or a regular blender to puree the soup until smooth.

Stir in lime juice.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
