Ingredients
  • 1 can Black beans
  • 1 large Potato
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 piece Burger buns
  • 4 leaf Lettuce
  • 2 sliced Tomato
  • 4 slice Pickles
Instructions
  1. Rinse and drain the black beans. Peel and grate the potato. Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork. Add grated potato, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties. Place the patties on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Toast the burger buns. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a veggie patty. Top with sliced tomato and pickles. Cover with the top bun.
  6. Serve the black bean and potato veggie burgers with your favorite condiments and enjoy!
