Ingredients
  • 20 ounce Canned jackfruit
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 piece Hamburger buns
  • 1 cup Coleslaw
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the canned jackfruit.
  2. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add the jackfruit to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Use a fork to shred the jackfruit into smaller pieces.
  6. Add BBQ sauce, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns.
  9. Assemble the sandwiches by placing a generous amount of BBQ jackfruit on the bottom half of each bun.
  10. Top with coleslaw and cover with the top half of the bun.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
