  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 1 cup Red beans
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Rinse the basmati rice and red beans separately.
  2. In a pot, add water, rice, red beans, salt, cumin powder, and turmeric powder.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice and beans are cooked.
