Ingredients
  • 500 gram Carrots
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds.
  2. Boil the carrot slices in salted water for 5 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the cooked carrots to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the fresh basil leaves, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot as a side dish.
