Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 2 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon Maple syrup
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the potatoes into thick wedges.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Arrange the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the fries are baking, prepare the smoky ketchup by combining ketchup, liquid smoke, and maple syrup in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the fries from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the baked steak fries with the smoky ketchup on the side.
