Ingredients
  • 2 cup Dried navy beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Soak the dried navy beans overnight.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Drain and rinse the soaked beans.
  4. In a clay pot, combine the beans, chopped onion, minced garlic cloves, tomato paste, maple syrup, mustard, paprika, salt, black pepper, and water.
  5. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Cover the clay pot with a lid.
  7. Place the clay pot in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.
  8. After 1 hour, remove the lid and stir the beans.
  9. Continue baking uncovered for another 10 minutes to allow the beans to thicken.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
