Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4 clove Garlic cloves
  • 28 ounce Canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 4 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic cloves. Cook until onion is translucent.
  2. Add canned tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir well.
  3. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil leaves.
  5. Serve the pasta sauce over cooked pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
