  • 16 stalks Asparagus
  • 8 slices Bread
  • 2 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 tablespoon Cream Cheese
  • 8 leaves Fresh Basil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Toss the asparagus with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill the asparagus for 5-7 minutes, until tender.
  4. Toast the bread slices.
  5. Spread cream cheese on one side of each slice.
  6. Place grilled asparagus and fresh basil leaves on half of the bread slices.
  7. Top with the remaining bread slices.
  8. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
