Ingredients
  • 2 cup Cornmeal
  • 1.5 cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Cheese
  • 1 sliced Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Black Beans
  • 4 tablespoon Sour Cream
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix the cornmeal, water, and salt until well combined. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the arepas for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  4. Slice each arepa in half and stuff them with cheese, avocado, black beans, and sour cream.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
