Ingredients
  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 medium Apple
  • 1 cup Parsley
  • 2 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  4. Stir in the rinsed rice and cook for 2-3 minutes, until lightly toasted.
  5. Add diced apple, chopped parsley, vegetable broth, salt, and black pepper to the pot.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
  7. Remove from heat and let the pilaf rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Fluff the pilaf with a fork before serving.
