Ingredients
  • 2 pound Turnips
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
Instructions
  1. Peel the turnips and cut them into small cubes.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the turnip cubes. Cook for about 20-25 minutes or until tender.
  3. Drain the turnips and return them to the pot.
  4. Add butter, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir well until the butter is melted and the turnips are coated.
  5. Cook over low heat for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and let the turnips rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
