Ingredients
  • 500 grams Potatoes
  • 200 grams Green peas
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 2 medium-sized Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add finely chopped onion and sauté till golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn mushy.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add boiled potatoes and green peas. Mix everything together.
  6. Add water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with roti or rice.
