Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas and dates until smooth.

Add the chopped nuts, oats, ground cinnamon, baking powder, salt, vanilla extract, maple syrup or honey, and melted coconut oil to the bowl. Mix well.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Scoop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart.

Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.

Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
