Rinse the lentils and pasta.

In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.

Add the tomato paste, cumin, and coriander, and cook for another minute.

Add the lentils, pasta, and vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the lentils and pasta are cooked.

Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
