Wash and dry the potatoes, then cut them into thin slices.

In a bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Arrange the potato slices on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

While the potatoes are baking, cut the cherry tomatoes into halves and chop the fresh basil.

In a separate bowl, mix the cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Remove the baked potato slices from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Toast the baguette slices until crispy.

Top each baguette slice with a spoonful of the tomato and basil mixture.
