In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, water, corn syrup, food coloring, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and salt.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.

Remove from heat and quickly stir in the baking soda.

Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out using a spatula.

Let it cool and harden for about 30 minutes.
