Focaccia is a popular Italian bread that originated in ancient Rome. It was traditionally baked on the hearth of a hot fire, giving it a unique flavor and texture.

In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center.

Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the well. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Punch down the dough and transfer it to a baking sheet.

Press the dough evenly into the baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil on top and press your fingers into the dough to create dimples.

Sprinkle rosemary and sea salt flakes over the dough.
